21 July 2003 Kawaii Bao Long
Those who had watched <Meteor Garden> will definitely remember the arrogant and obnoxious kid - Dao
Ming Si. But when I truly saw him in the flesh for the first time, what has not changed is his handsome looks, but that warm
smile and humble appearance of his had changed.
He had on a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans, absolutely no difference from any other fashionable guys that
you see on the streets. When I asked him what's his impression of Xin Jiang, he told me that he had been reading Xin Jiang's
tourist booklets, that he had heard that Xin Jiang is a very beautiful yet mysterious place, and that this place attracts
him.
When I asked why is it that he came alone, he smiled and said to me, this trip is for work, but if there's
a chance in future, he'll bring the other 3 along too. These words of his totally undid all the rumors about discord between
F4. After ending our short chat, I discovered that under his cool outer appearance, he's actually a very adorable & happy
boy, but when I see the way he had to keep a smile on his face all the time, I also saw the fact that being a young artiste,
he had to endure the restraints of his management company and his managers, and hence he misses out on space of his own as

18 July 2003 Real Life Jerry Encounter
Wasted a day waiting in HK airpor but saw no signs of Jerry, could not give him the presents. The next following
week, will be busied with exams & work. No way at all to follow Jerry's schedule, so Shelly & I decided to take a
day leave off work on 14 July 2003 again, to take a gamble, we booked a flight from Shanghai to Cheng Du, Cheng Du to HK &
HK to Shanghai ticket. See if we are lucky enough to be able to catch a glimpse of Jerry.
Early in the morning, Shelly & I both took the 8:45am flight from Shanghai to Cheng Du, waiting for Jerry's
arrival. At around 12:30pm, Jerry's flight reached!! At gate no. 2 exit, Shelly & I waited there. Eversince 9 March 2003
till today, it had been 4 months plus that we have not seen Jerry!! Finally, our dreams will come true! We were both really
excitied & nervous! We waited for quite a while but still have not seen Jerry, my whole heart sank.. We chatted with some
of others Jerry fans who were also waiting at the airport, that we realized Jerry might be having his meal at the VIP Lounge.
Shelly & I then realized that we both had not eaten anything at all, feeling hungry, we went to fill our stomach.
After our meal, we are preparing to confirm our tickets to HK. In Cheng Du Suang Liu airport, there are 2
storeys, when we are walking from the inside to the outside, along the pavement, we saw a lot of Cheng Du fans waiting outside
the VIP Lounge area, Jerry must be inside!!! As Shelly & my tickets are for different class, so we checked in & passed
the security & went to the VIP Resting area to wait for Jerry, the security was very tight in the VIP Resting area, &
as it is facing the entrance of the VIP Lounge, Shelly & I kept our faces fixed in that direction hoping to see Jerry.
At 14:45pm, there were a lot more people, all rushing to see Jerry, we also went along with the crowd. At
14:50pm, finally JERRY APPEARED!!! His manager & assistants were walking in front & behind him, with security guards
protecting him. We stood there, saw him take down his backpack, walk through the scanner door. At that moment, I simply can't
believe my own eyes. Jerry is in flesh & blood, so real standing right infront of me! Then he entered the VIP room with
all his crews. At this time, we are only left with 20 mins to boarding. So we went into the waiting area & sat right at
the back, 10 mins later, Jerry came!!
At that moment, 2 female airport staff held onto Jerry & refused to let him leave! Jerry remove his backpack,
took out a can of Pepsi & gave it to one of them, 2 of them began to snatch for it & forgot about Jerry. Jerry quickly
left, slowly he is walking towards us.I immediately went up to him & pass him the presents which we had wanted to give
him. Shelly passed the letter to him. At this very moment, I was rooted to the ground, motionless, I could only remember saying
: "Jerry, we came from shanghai, this ping pong racket is for you, coz the other time in Nanjing, saw you & Zai playing
ping pong, you played well." I really thought of praising him more but then I could not remember what happened next..i could
not even hear what Jerry said. Shelly said I looked so stunned & shocked & my eyes just froze!
When we board the plane, there were total 8 seats in 2 rows. I sat at 1C right next to Shelly. But next to
me, dividing me is a small passageway & Jerry came in!! He sat right in front of me!! The crew state that we should not
be a hindrance & no photo-taking are allowed. As the crews were busying arranging their stuff, Shelly walk right up to
Jerry & said to him, "On 6 July, we went to HK to fetch you but sadly we didn't manage to see you, as we had to work on
the 2nd day, we had no choice but to leave."
Jerry, with his electrifying eyes replied : "I'm so sorry." Shelly immediately said "It's ok, heard that your
job is done, so we flew to Cheng Du to fetch you this time." I immediately said "You must come to Shanghai ok? We will treat
you go eat big crabs!" He just looked at me & smiled. At this time, some fans came along & took their seats near us,
all of us were soo happy!! His manager also sat down. In the whole area, there are just Shelly, me, some Xu fans (left &
right) at the back row is Jerry, Xiao Zhi, Li Siu Fang & another foreigner.
2 hours flight journey began, we at the front kept turning & looking at Jerry, he looked just like a small
little boy, he cannot keep still at work, at times, he played with the cards on flight, then he packed his bag, then he flip
through the inflight magazines..I can't help not looked at him!! Once he actually looked up at me & smiled. My heart flap,
my jaw dropped open & I just plainly stared at him, my god!!! I must have looked so stupid infront of him!!!
Next the stewardess came to distribute newspapers, she gave everyone a copy & then said to us, "Guess
you 2 won't need any papers right? Just looked behind enough already!" Jerry & his manager laughed. We were sooo embarrassed,
our face turned red. Xu fans from HK gave him a VCD which they made it themselves, Jerry went to his bag & took out a
small DVD player, he view the VCD on the spot! So cute!! HK fans claimed that they too have the same model of DVD player which
Jerry had, but Jerry quickly replied, "This is not mine, I borrowed it from someone else, my own DVD player is a big one!!"

At this time, food is served, Jerry's face immediately light up!! Just like a little boy when he see food!
And he really eats a lot!! He ate salad, fruit platter, noodles, 2 buns, 2 biscuits, fruit juice & cold water in just
an hour!!! The way he drank his fruit juice is not like us, slowly sipping it, but he drank it like a cow!!! In just a gulp!
After eating, he began to sleep, after awhile later, his manager slept too. We all did not dare make any noise to bother them
& just let them sleep. Shelly & I are soo busy awake by looking at him, he had soo many ways of sleeping, just like
a boy! His expressions are plenty..like opening his mouth, frowning, smiling, so many actions...he slept till his blanket
dropped on the floor. Looking at his healthy skin glowing..his long eyelashes were soooo captivating.just like an angel!!!
At this moment, I only wished for one thing - that is for time to stop! Stop at this moment now!
Around 17:00om, I got up to go to the toilet, behind there were some stewardess at the back, we started
to chat alittle. Then I saw Shelly waving for me to go over. I went over & she pointed at Jerry saying that he want to
go toilet. I sat down & Jerry stood up & ran for the toilet.when he came out, looking at him, gives me the feeling
that he had conquered the whole plane, he is so tall & so huge that he seems to occupy the entire plane!!! Shelly &
I were actually chatting but we stopped & looked at him he nodded his head to us as if to signal that he is making contact
with us to say hi. & he walk back to his seat, we both smiled broadly.
When the plane landed in HK, Jerry was still sleeping, the stewardess wake him up gently. All of us
were removing our luggage & left accordingly. We stood outside & waited for him, when he came out, I told him, "Jerry,
you must exercise ya, don't forget to use the ping pong racket we gave you." Shelly asked "When are you coming to Shanghai?"
His expressions were as if he were thinking about something, he never answer. Right outside the exit, there were a lot of
fans waiting for him. We both shouted "Bye Bye Jerry" & he disappeared with his crew quickly. We quickly went to confirm
our transit tickets back & chatted with other fellow fans.
At the Gate 3, we saw 3 HK fans, they told us that Jerry is upstairs at the Resting room, but what a
pity, the last flight back to Shanghai is at 19:15pm, while Jerry's flight will only take off at 19:40pm. Shelly & I both
waited till 19:00pm, we had no choice but to hop on the plane back to Shanghai, ending our special & memorable 1 day journey.
The feeling of having Jerry so close & yet so far is undescrible, the thought of leaving him breaks our hearts, we left

Just when you thought this side 'o the world is fed up with boy band syndrome, her comes another lovable group
of four who goes by the name of F4! Their tag may come from a flowery Flower Four but in reality, the F4 guys --- Jerry Yan,
Vic Zhuo, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu --- are responsible for sending millions of flowers abloom and millions of girls' heats a-flutter.
Wanna know why?
Tagged as Taiwan's hottest boy band since the Little Tigers, who disbanded 10 years ago, and the country's
entry to the saga where the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and Westlife previously reigned, F4 lives up to every girl's idea of
what a boy band member should be: good-looking and talented enough to make you go gaga over. Obviously, Jerry, Vic, Ken and
Vanness are those and more! Their major plus being the hit TV series Meteor Garden where they share the limelight with Barbie
Hus who plays Shan Cai, the plain girl from a middle-class family that enters the world of the filthy rich via enrolling in
an elite school where she meets the gorgeous bullies.
A little over a month after Metero Garden started airing on ABS-CBN, F4 became a phenomenal hit among Pinays
of virtually all ages --- from prepubescent to teens. To college gals to the working twenty-somethings to certified adults
--- who are looking for a good substitute to Mexican telenovelas and lengthy local soap operas, which are currently ruling
the scene. This Taiwanese series, based from a Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango shares the story of Shan Cai, a middle-class
girl who enters an exclusive university hoping to snatch herself a wealthy man to get her family out of poverty. There she
meets and clashes with the bullies and the playboys who are suffering from the rich kid syndrome and ends up attracting the
precious attention of Dao Ming Si (played by Jerry Yan) as well as Hua Ze Lei's (Vic Zhou). Together with some girl friends,
Shan Cai struggles to survive her fears and nervousness to cope with the world of the rich and famous.and with the guys of
a band called F4 (where Dao is the leader) close by, her life can't be a walk in the park. The plot is simple yet brilliant,
enough to attract all suckers for romance. And talking about the Pinoys, it's not remotely possible to know that everyone's
glued to their TV sets when the show airs.
Although it is Meteor Garden that launched the careers of Jerry, Vic, Ken and Vanness, the guys are practically
on their own after that. Luckily for us, they're not resting on their laurels. In fact, they have an album to boast accompanied
by hit singles left and right entitled Meteor Rain. Suddenly becoming household names not only in their native Taiwan but
also in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Brunei, and now the Philippines is inevitable. Their rise to stardom has been nothing
short of meteoric. And mind you, they're just starting.
F4's debut album released April of last year, has sold over 180,000 copies in Taiwan alone brags about making
it to the third spot on the local charts just three days after it hit the shelves. And boy, they did not look back after that.
Numerous hits have followed catapulting them to real boy band stardom --- complemented with chaos whenever and wherever they
show up.
Speaking of showing up, you guys better watch out because Sony Music, the local distributor of F4, is said
to be contemplating on bringing the guys here to perform in August. Yup, as in in the flesh! (this idea, I believe, is still
farfetched at present -mirella)

4 July 2003 Ken + Vanness in Pepsi Gathering
Pepsi Music Charts: Stars Gather, Ken and Vanness Favourites:
The Pepsi Music Charts was finally unveiled last night at the HK Convention Center. Pepsi gathered their superstars including
Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheung, F4's Ken Chu and Vanness Wu, Edison Cheng, as well as Jolin Tse and Na Ying. There were stars from
all three countries. Even Mei Yan Fang, turned up representing good friend Leslie Cheung, in rememberance that he was the
first ever Pepsi spokesperson.To give the HK music charts a more competitive edge, Pepsi launched its own Music Charts. Pepsi
invited many superstars to attend the launch of the charts, which caused many traffic jams in HK near the venue.
Last night's even was called "Pepsi Music Charts Flaming Hero's
Event", hoping that it will make a mark in the popular music industry. Last night, the stars arrived in sport cars, full of
glamour. When Ken and Vanness appeared, the fans screamed until they were deaf to the ear. Jolin Tse even bought a new silver
outfit to go with the Pepsi Charts for this special occasion. All attending stars, entered the center and immediately put
their new album on stage. This was to one, officially launch the Music Charts and two, in hope that their future music will
appear on the chartsThe only mperfection in last night's show was the fact that Mei Yan Fang, who attend on behalf of the
deceased Leslie Cheung did not arrive until 9 o'clock due to traffic jams.
Hence, the event had to be delayed for 90 minutes. F4's Ken
and Vanness and Jolin Tse represented Taiwan's music industry, hoping that Taiwan singers will feature on the Charts. After
attending the press conference, Ken will head back to Taiwan to continue filming <<Love Typhoon>>. Whilst Vanness
will remain in HK to filming <<Star Runner>> and Jolin will use this opportunity to do promotion in HK.Source:

30 June 2003 Jerry Not Going to HK
Pepsi has invested over HK$2million into
their Charts Launch on the 2nd of July. There will be many stars attending the event.
At the moment, the list comprises of the following Aaron Kwok,
Sammi Cheng, Ken Chu, Vanness Wu, Na Ying, Shine, Edison Chen, Jolin Tse and over 20 other singers. The star studded cast
would be arriving in coaches, with the Victoria Harbour as the backdrop. There will also be a fireworks display to end the
night.
F4's Jerry Yan, who has not made a public appearance for some
time will not attend, but in his place would be Ken Chu. Jerry's fans have expressed their anger to Fu Long. HK Jerry's fax
pointed out Fu Long released the information that Jerry would go to HK, hence many fans took leave at work, and some even
booked plane tickets and reserved rooms at the hotel, just so they can see their idol. Now that they know Jerry's isn't coming,
they are very disappointed.
In regards to his issue, Pepsi's spokesperson Fion pointed out
that Jerry had another task at hand, the same goes for ZZ. They are preparing another task for Pepsi, hence for this press

30 June 2003 Can't Imagine Working With Jerry
After filming one film, Sammi is set to work on another.
This time the male costars are said to be Andy Lau and Jerry Yan. Andy expressed that he is happy to put in a cameo appearance.
Sammi smiles and says that she believes that Andy would collaborate on this movie, since she agreed to guest star in his <<Wu
Jian Dao>>. As for Jerry Yan, even though she has watched <<Meteor Garden>>, but finds it hard to imagine
what it would be like to work with Jerry himself. When asking her what her impressions of him him were, Sammi expressed that
she has watched <<MG>>. But what about working with him? She replies that the script has yet to come out but if

28 June 2003 Viv + Vanness = ???
First, she wrote him a song for his album,
then came the diamond necklace for her as his token of appreciation.
Things went blurry after that as they reportedly were spotted
sitting side by side getting chummy with each other during Jay's concert, having a great time in Tokyo, and playing basketball
in the middle of the night with a group of friends.
After numerous "We're just good friends" phrases from both sides,
Vanness is finally getting tired of fending off the persistent rumours.
Vanness says that it no longer matters whether he and Vivian
are dating, the media would still harp on it anyway. He just could not be bothered with it anymore. When asked whether he
would hide his relationship from public, Vanness said," I will not deliberately announce that I'm dating, but nor I'll deny
that I'm dating if my relationship were to be discovered. I believe that my personal life and my career are 2 different things
altogether. I know that some of my fans are very supportive of me, and they actually wish that I'd find a girl I really like."

If Hong Kong's own celebrities are not convincing
enough, how about hearing it from Korean actress Kim Hyun Joo?
She unwittingly helped to boost the confidence of potential
visitors when she flew to Hong Kong two weeks ago to film the movie, Star Runner, opposite F4's Vanness Wu.
She is reportedly the first foreign artiste to enter the territory
since the Sars outbreak.
Her testimonial: Hong Kong is a 'safe place', and she has yet
to wear a mask.
She met her co-star, who flew in from Taiwan, at a press conference
last Thursday.
On stage, Vanness, who sported blond streaks in his snazzy new
hairdo, eagerly greeted Hyun Joo in fluent Korean.
He said he had learnt the language from his Korean-Chinese friends
in Los Angeles, where he was born.
On her impression of Vanness, Hyun Joo smiled and said that
he seems nicer and more dashing in person.
She even joked that it was her friend, who is besotted with
Vanness, who insisted that she should grasp the opportunity to work with him.
One wonders, did her friend tag along to meet him as well?-

28 June 2003 Vanness Arrives in HK
Vanness arrived in HK on 11th June to shoot his first movie
as a lead male actor in 'Shao Nian Ah Hu'. Vanness will be acting as a student boxer who falls in love with a Korean teacher
played by Korean actress, Jin Xian Shu.
Despite the tight security, the situation got a bit out of hand
with around 300 fans screaming and getting hysterical upon seeing Vanness.
One of his fans managed to bypass the security to hug Vanness
while another fan accidentally hit Vanness's head while trying to give him a gift.
To prepare for his role, Vanness went to gym everyday during
his vacation in USA to build up his muscles in addition to taking up boxing classes.
During the press conference, Jin revealed there will be a kissing
scene between herself and Vanness in the movie. When asked by the press whether they (Vanness and Jin) are afraid there will
be rumours developing as the result of the kissing scene, Vanness laughingly brushed off the question by saying that there
would not be any rumours because each of them will be returning to 2 different countries after the filming.
Jin admitted she wouldn't mind the kissing scene, however, she

28 June 2003 Ken VS. Zai Zai
"Ken VS Zaizai"
Both Vic Zhou's and Ken Chu's solo albums were originally scheduled
to be released at the same time; causing speculations that there will be competitions between them. After some consideration,
their managers decided to release Vic and Ken's solo albums 1 month apart.
Vic's first solo album which became one of Sony Music's best
selling albums has raised his fans' anticipation of his 2nd album.
Ken has been working very hard to prepare his first solo album
by learning guitar and composing songs in his free time. Ken's music style will be different to Vic's love ballads. Ken is
going for rock style music. He also seeks help and pointers from music talents such as Huang Da Wei and Wu Bai.
Their managers have indicated that there should be no comparison
nor competition between Ken and Vic as their music styles are completely different, targeting different audiences. - Source:

Eversince F4 rises to fame, each members has been plagued by
all sorts of rumours.
From Vanness who has been accused of being arrogant and demanding,
to Zaizai facing the rumours that he was barred from exam, to the eldest member, Jerry, who was linked to the daughter of
ex-mafia's boss.
Now, it's Ken's turn. He reportedly scolded his fans who followed
him to the temple in Thailand where he went to pray.
Prior to his trip to Thailand, Ken broke his amulet which he
obtained from Thailand almost 8 years ago when he prayed to the 4-faced Buddha.
In his recent trip, Ken made the time to go back to the temple
to pray. However, when the news broke, a number of his fans started to hang around the hotel where he was staying to catch
the sight of him.
When his fans followed him to the temple and started to take
his pictures, Ken's assistant immediately tried to stop them. Scuffling and arguments ensued soon after, Ken, who was irritated
by all the proceedings, turned around and said,"You all are very annoying! Don't follow me around anymore. Why don't you all
scram!"
When a young fan insistently snapping away her camera to take

"Strong, cool Jerry"
WILL Jerry Yan be married to the mob soon?
A Taiwanese mafia leader's daughter has openly declared her
interest for the F4 singer-actor.
According to Apple Daily, the mafia princess in question is
a certain Ms Zhang Jiaxuan, daughter of a triad leader nicknamed Shan Ji or mountain chicken.
In an interview with the paper, Ms Zhang had said that she likes
her men strong and cool, like Jerry.
However, she added that she is afraid that dating Jerry might
incur the wrath of his many fans.

28 June 2003 Jerry Easy to Talk To?
In one of her interviews, Chang Qing Fang disclosed that she
was at ease when interviewing Jerry, and she found out that Jerry was very easy to talk to, once he got to know you better.
When praised about her ability to get Jerry to give her permission
to rummage through his backpack, she laughed and said,"I was very curious because I always see him carrying his big backpack
around wherever he goes. So, halfway through the interview, I asked him whether he'd allow me to take a look at what he's
carrying around in his backpack. I never thought he would agree straight away. I understood that it was a very private sensitive

28 June 2003 Jerry has a Girlfriend?
Rumour has it that Jerry has a girlfriend, Zhang Jia Xuan. Jerry
has since denied the rumours, claiming that Zhang Jia Xuan already has a boyfriend who is a model (who happens to be Jerry's
friend), and he hopes media will give it a rest. Jerry vehemently insisted that there is nothing going on between him and
Zhang Jia Xuan and that they are just friends.
Zhang Jia Xuan has also denied the rumour. She said that she
does not have a boyfriend yet at the moment, and according to her, the male model (whom Jerry said to be her boyfriend) is
currently courting her, but they are not a couple yet. Zhang Jia Xuan and Jerry are introduced to each other by that male

28 June 2003 New Sexy F4 Commercial
Being the Pepsi Star, F4, the first serie of commercial photo
was already out in end of May. The 4's theme is "sporty", wearing many different kinds of sports clothes in the photos. Since
the F4 commercial is so popular, all the pop cans that have their photo on them are all sold out.
In the second serie of F4's Pepsi commercial photo that is shown
in BeiJing, the 4 all are dressed in fancy/elegant/high class clothes. Jerry has the theme of a "Prince". He wears a white
shirt showing part of his chest with a pair of silver pants. Not ongly is it sexy, it is also very high class/appealing/elegant.
Also, in the picture, Jerry only shows half of his face, but with his attractive eyes are the main selling point.
Jerry, who has rarely been exposed, is studying "drama/art"
(dunno how to translate) classes. Later, he will star in a movie and will go to Hong Kong on july 2nd to particitpate Pepsi
Interview Session. Jerry will go behalf of all F4.
ZaiZai who usually has the healthy/sunshine style, has a look
of "Student" in the photo. He wears a shirt and pants and wearing a tie, young and formal. ZaiZai puts on a "add oil" pose
in the pic, really cute.
Vanness who is known as the "Sexy" one, his "sexy" level cannot
compare with Jerry's this time. Vanness has body quite covered up, with a "knight" look. Vanness puts on a "OK" gesture...really
cool.
In the 4, Ken is the one that is the most covred up. Not only
is there no "chest" showing, he is also the one that is wearing the most. He wears a T-shirt, with a jacket. Comparing with
others, he is not as appealing.
The new serie of F4's commercial pic is out in many provine/state
in China. In BeiJing there are activities of trading posters and note book. This will probably bring out another F4 craze.-

23 June 2003 Jerry in Mulan Movie?
The film "Mulan", filmed by both a Mainland China movie company
and Korea together, has been confirmed to start filming in October, Korea star Jun Ji-Hyun has already signed to be female
lead, the male lead is still being considered as Jay, the strong competion is for Chow Yun Fat and Michelle Yeoh to play the
roles,"Hua Mulan" to be filmed next year in February.
They are currently strongly inviting Jay to play a part, if
they succeed then it will be the first time Jay appears in a movie.As for the other male lead taking part,that is Jeong U-Seong,
who once took lead in Korean movie "Warrior", in the movie he will be Jay's enemy.
Apart from Jay being one of the candidates for the main male
lead, Tawainese group F4's Jerry is also one of the film company's choices.
Zhuo Wu continued to say:"In terms of age and appearnce,I think
that Jun Ji-Hyun and Jay making this movie will be the best in the whole of Southeast Asia, not only this but they are well
known so they have advantages in terms of both commerce and promotion.Of course Chow Yu Fat and Michelle Yeoh have no problem
in the International market, but in terms of the Asian market to play out the story of Mulan becoming a solider, their age
indeed is a bit too old.Jun Ji-Hyun rejected a lot of films to take this one,she has seen the script and she really likes
this role Mulan.As for Jay, we are still in the middle of talking to him,he hasn't filmed a movie before, not only this but

Apart from this, Alfa Music's manager Mr.Yeung yesterday
expressed that they did indeed recieve a call from a Mainland China production company last week inviting Jay to film the
movie Mulan with Jun Ji- Hyun as the female lead.But at that time the other person needed to go aboard so both sides still
haven't progressed a further step into the details of the collabration.In fact since Jay became famous he has had a continous

Korean actress Kim Hyun Joo & Vanness
yesterday attended the ceremony for start of filming of [Shou Nian Ah Hu]. Both of them only get to know each other half an
hour before the ceremony and still seems very distant but Kim kept praising that Vanness is young & handsome.
The
ceremony was held in Hong Hum Hyatt hotel and this is the first time that both Vanness & Kim work together. The day before
Kim has admitted in the airport that she doesn't know who is F4.
Kim & Vanness both expressed yesterday that both have watched
each other's work. Vanness said : [I HAVE WATCHED GLASS SLIPPERS WHEN I WAS IN THE STATES WHICH KIM ACTED IN AND IT'S VERY
GOOD.] Kim in return said that she has watched the music clip of F4 and she said : [Vanness is the most outstanding amongst

Actress Barbie Xu, Shan Cai in TV series
Meteor Garden, and the members of the F4 band are friends despite rumors linking the band members to the actress. Xu's rumored
closeness to the guys was fodder for tabloids in Taiwan. The actress, who started making the TV series when she was 24 years
old, is older than the guys. She denied rumors linking her to F4 members Jerry Yang (Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden), Vic Zhou
Yu Min (Hua Ze Lei), Ken Zhu Xiao Tian (Xi Men) and Vanness Wu Jian Hao (Mei Zuo).
"I am puzzled. After all, my qualities are quite good. If they
did [pursue me], I'd definitely accept them because they're all so cute," Xu said in an interview.
Xu was particularly linked to Zhou Yu Min and Wu. "Vic and I
get along very well. I even made him my god brother," she said. She also knew Wu even before they made Meteor Garden. With
rumors surrounding Xu's stint in Meteor Garden, she said that one thing is true -- her character is similar to Shan Cai's.
"I'm very much like my Meteor Garden character, San Cai.

F4 are now the prestigeous "Pepsi Superstars". They along with
the likes of Jay Chou and Sammi Cheung are releasing or have released their won Pepsi bottles and cans. Amongst them, Jerry
was the first, with his cans coming out at the end of May. Not only did this create a craze in the market amongst fans, some
even went to the extreme of ordering over 10 cartons. Next in line is ZZ, Vanness and Ken.
Similarly, Jay's can is at the moment being released n Guang
Zhou, with fans also placing orders of 10 cartons. This in comparison with NBA superstar Yao Ming and Sammi, we can see F4
are and Jay are much more superior.
In China, all the Pepsi promotional activities has been revolving
around F4. Amongst the four, Jerry is the most popular, with his poster being the largest on Shanghai's billboards. Also,
with buses, the most of them have Jerry or Vic on them.
Pepsi cans retail for around RMB$1.80 but this has been

F4's Ken is now busy shooting a new drama [Kuang Ai] with ZZ
but recently TVBS in Taiwan showed his 3 yrs old drama [Xiang Ru Qui De Xia Tian]. Actually this drama, Ken beaten his team
mate Jerry, Li Wei & Lin Youwei during interview to win the chance to act in the drama.
This drama is arranged
to show on 8pm in Taiwan TVBS and producer John Qui pointed out that during the interview, F4's Jerry was also shortlisted
and the choice has to be made between Jerry & Ken and the reason that Ken won the role was because of his good looks and

Lao Da Jerry showing of his muscles , income over 8 figures.
F4 going solo and their price has gone up 3 times!!! As Pepsi's
spokesperson, these four handsome guys currently has shot Pepsi's annual new commercial separately, Lao Da Jerry not only
showed his muscles and also his mi si ren new image, his income is also the highest amongst the four of them which broke the
record. Him alone already bagged over 8 figures for this commerical which left the other 3 so envious.
Last year's Pepsi commercial, the income was spilt among the
four of them but now that they have gone solo, their income has jumped 3 times higher and the pai chang also is extraordinary.
Although now SARS is still rampant but the four of them still managed to find time last month to shoot the commercial, Ken
shot it in HK, the production unit has arranged to have 10 different Zhou Xin (images) for him even Ken said that he is so
gorgeous after seeing them.
Jerry was still on leave and his tracks has been very secretive.
When the HK production unit came to Taiwan to shot his part, they were so surprised to see that he was in a very good shape,
his muscles were more developed than before thus they decided to let him show off his body which also beaten Vanness and because
Jerry's overseas market is too good, thus what he's getting of course will be better than the other 3.
After Jerry is Vic, he was all covered up but still managed
to look very cute, his income is also after Jerry. Everyone said that he's part is very worth it, didn't have to show his

Vanness changed his image to sunny boy and he is more reserved

Jerry's wildness, ZZ's sheng qin, Ken's cool and with Vanness's
sportyness, four difference electric current sending out by the four of them on the Pepsi cans, after the fans finished the
drinks, they will not be willing to throw away the can.
F4 has consecutively be the spokesperson for Pepsi in Taiwan,
HK & China, this year they will even be the spokesperson for Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand. Earlier when MG was shown
in Thailand, it was very popular amongst the youngsters and thus Pepsi in Thailand has volunteered to have F4's pic on the
can and that is why F4 has become the first chinese artistes to have their pic on the pepsi can in that country.
Last year, Pepsi emphasis on their group image but this year
Pepsi will emphasis on their individual image, made to measure 4 different CF for each of them, pics on the cans will be release
on different area in order to let fans collect them. Currently China has be the first to release Jerry & ZZ's pepsi cans
and this have created a crazy rush to snatch up the cans. Follow by that Ken & Vanness's pepsi bottles will be released
too.
In order to shoot these pictures for the cans, F4 has
spent 4 days in the studios, besides Ken who shot it in HK, Jerry, ZZ & Vanness finished theirs in Taiwan. Just customs
they have to changed into 5 diferent pieces and poses were up to over 100 different styles. Esp Pepsi wants them to have the

22 May 2003 Jerry is Back
Almost 2 months and finally at last week
Jerry returned to Taiwan from Japan. In the later part of the year, F4 besides attending Pepsi's actitivities, Jerry &
Vic will be releasing their solo albums, Ken will be concentrating on his filming, Vanness will be preparing for his 2nd solo
album, F4 will be trying very hard to meet the requests of their fans.
In the beginning of the year, Jerry applied for 2 months leave
with the company and has been living a carefree period which he will play basketball with his friends, dining with his friends
and even went to Japan to upgrade himself and at the same time have a short break there. Originally planned to go to theUS
for his course but because of the war, in the end he has no choice but to change his destination from US to an acting academy
in Tokyo, Japan. Attending 2 weeks of lessons in singing and body language courses.
Jerry has been absent from the
screen for 2 months and his manager Zi Xiangli has been receiving not less than 80 to 90 scripts for Jerry, has to even turn
down commercials offers. Lately mainland's media has been reporting that Jerry will be appearing in a 20 over episodes of
series as mainland's athelete
Li Huitang, thus Jerry's company has to clarify again that if everytime they receive a script
and that mean that they accept the job, then Jerry's work schedules will be ongoing till he's 80 years old ba! Having appearing
less, this has made his fans miss him even more, one can also see fake msgs
left behind using Jerry's name. The latest
job that Jerry is involved in is organised by basketball player Yao Ming and Jerry has donated a denim hat which has already
see the highest bid at the present moment at NT$40,000.00 and is actually the highest bid fetched compared to other items
that other artistes have donated, thus can really see how popular Jerry is even when he's appearing less for now.
Eating out at roadside eatery in Japan When he was taking
his courses in Japan, Jerry's everyday life has been spent in a very meaningful way. Whenever he has not class he will take
the train to go around for sightseeing, eating at the Tokyo roadside stores and will occasionally be recognised by the
Japanese
girls but he will very relaxed and smile and nod his head at the girls. After returning to Japan, his cheeks are flushed,
his mood was extremely good and told his manager Zi Xiangli happily : [I'M BACK LAH, TOKYO IS REALLY VERY FUN !!!]
Last
week, there was a doctor who went to Japan despite having SARS. With coincidience, Jerry took the same flight back as him
to Taiwan, after knowing this, fans were very worried about the health of Jerry. His manager expressed : [Jerry came back
from Tokyo and the doctor came back from Osaka area, they have no contact on their Japan trips. Everybody don't have to worry.]-

have collaborated to produce a song. The song is hoped to unite Taiwan's community to work together in fighting against SARS
